Recorded at the 9:30 Club in Washington, DC, 13 November 1982. The soundman introduced the band incorrectly (Men IN Volts?? It doesn't even make sense - not that band names have to make sense) and was clearly getting the mix together over the course of the first couple songs. He went on to take some sonic liberties, which eventually did lead to a richly psychedelicized "Stare Into Attics."

Tracks 1-8 are the first set, 9-15 the second.
